The third step is to treat any problems you may be having. Most skincare brands have many products that provide targeted benefits, beyond moisture. For example anti-aging treatments can make the skin feel and look softer, younger, smoother and, healthier. Other treatment products may minimize age spots and discolorations, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, or minimize acne. The treatment step of the universal regiment is the one step where the product can be personalized to treat an individual's specific needs.
The fourth step is to moisturize. Moisturizers help maintain the skin's moisture balance and help seal in treatment benefits that have already been applied. Moisturizers make the skin feel soft and supple and can minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
