Advertising your own cleaning business isn't as hard as it seems. There are many easy ways to advertise your business using less expensive techniques to effectively get customers to come to you.

What is advertising? Advertising is a form of communication. It's the use of different types of media like radio or TV to persuade people to buy the product. Everyday you as the ordinary person are bombarded by almost a thousand advertisements. Don't believe it? You hear ads on the radio, watch them on TV, see them on your mobile phone, and close pop-ups while surfing. These ads are the result of multi-million dollar campaigns.

But what about your advertising campaign as the new business owner? How can you successfully advertise your cleaning business without breaking the bank and with maximum results? You might initially want to follow what you see on the TV but you can easily advertise your business with what you have on hand.

First, remember that you are persuading people. You're telling them why your services are better, cheaper, and faster or whatever angle you'd like to pursue. You have to tell them how your cleaning business can benefit them. This is the first thing that people look for with advertising and you can take advantage of that easily. First, think of why your business is different. Does your cleaning service use only natural products? Are you cheaper? Faster? Open 24/7? Willing to clean up any mess or stain? Short keywords like these should appear on your ads.

You can easily print up marketing materials that you can use for your cleaning services. You can use any desktop publishing program you have or download one. Print up a few business cards, brochures and flyers to hand out to people. This is one the ways you can easily advertise your cleaning business. A few words of advice: these marketing materials should be easily identified as yours. Although it might be tempting, don't go around making ten million different designs for your posters. Sticking to a theme and template may be a good idea for your first set of materials.

You don't even have to pay for ad space in the beginning. Use your local community center billboards, your local grocery or even your local bar as places to put up your ads. Not only do you get people to read your ads, you can easily persuade the owner to spread the word around about your business. It's easy to place a flyer or a brochure where people can spot them and pick them up.

You might want to consider taking out ads with your local television network, radio station or newspaper. For a small fee, you can reach out and inform more people about your cleaning service. Place an ad around town or in your car. These are easy ways to drum up business for your cleaning service.

Finally, remember that it takes time. You can't magically expect your ads to bring in customers ASAP. Just remember to put in why your cleaning service is the best cleaning service in town and your number in big bold letters. The calls will surely come in!
