Asperger's syndrome is a condition common in young children who experience impaired social interactions and develop limited repetitive patterns of behavior. Asperger's syndrome is other wise commonly called as pervasive developmental disorder. Repetitive behaviors, including repetitive self-injurious behavior, no general delay in language, and no delay in cognitive development, or in the development of age-appropriate self-help skills or in curiosity about the environment are some of the other symptoms of asperger's syndrome.
